Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization Day
Arrive at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport (IXL). Upon arrival, our representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the hotel. Due to the high altitude of Leh (approx. 11,500 ft / 3,500 m), it is crucial to spend the entire day acclimatizing. Rest and allow your body to adjust to the reduced oxygen levels. Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing – Monasteries & Palace
After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Leh. Visit the iconic Leh Palace, a former royal palace overlooking the town. Explore the beautiful Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh city and the surrounding mountains. Visit the Spituk Monastery, known for its giant Kali statue, and the Magnetic Hill, a natural wonder. Conclude your day with a visit to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib and the Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers). Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La
After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Nubra Valley (approx. 4-5 hours drive) via the world-famous Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft / 5,359 m), one of the highest motorable roads. Upon arrival in Nubra, check into your camp/hotel in Hunder. In the afternoon, enjoy a unique double-humped camel ride amidst the sand dunes of Hunder (at extra cost). Day 4: Nubra Valley Exploration & Villages
After breakfast, continue exploring Nubra Valley. You can visit the Panamik Hot Springs, a lesser-known but beautiful spot, or explore local villages like Sumoor or Turtuk (if time permits and depending on permits/accessibility). Day 5: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok
After an early breakfast, proceed to the mesmerizing Pangong Tso (Lake) (approx. 5-6 hours drive) via the scenic Shyok route. The lake, famous for its changing shades of blue, extends from India to Tibet. Upon arrival, check into your camp near the lake. Day 6: Pangong Exploration – Rezang La / Chushul
Today, you can further explore the eastern side of Pangong Lake towards Chushul and Rezang La (subject to permits and road conditions), areas known for their historical significance and stark beauty. Day 7: Pangong to Tso Moriri via Remote Landscapes
After breakfast, embark on a journey to Tso Moriri Lake (approx. 7-8 hours drive), a beautiful high-altitude lake. This route takes you through remote and stunning landscapes, often via the lesser-traveled Chushul and Hanle areas (permits required and subject to road conditions). Day 8: Tso Moriri Exploration & Korzok Village

Day 9: Tso Moriri to Lamayuru – Moonland Marvels
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Lamayuru (approx. 7-8 hours drive), famous for its ancient monastery and unique “Moonland” landscapes. The route offers diverse geological formations and panoramic views. Upon arrival, check into your guesthouse/hotel. Day 11: Lamayuru to Leh – Return to the Capital
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Leh (approx. 3-4 hours drive). En route, you can make stops at the Likir Monastery and Basgo Palace & Monastery. Upon reaching Leh, check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps revisiting your favorite spots or doing some last-minute souvenir shopping in the Leh Market. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.

Day 12: Leh – Free Day / Optional Activities
This day is reserved for leisure in Leh. You can use this time to relax, explore any missed spots, or indulge in some souvenir shopping for local handicrafts, Pashmina shawls, or Tibetan artifacts. This is also a good buffer day for any unforeseen delays during the tour. Alternatively, you can opt for short hikes or just enjoy the cafe culture of Leh. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
